President Obama,.. Does the water taste better today?

Well, Now that he's President Obama, does the water taste better?

Now that Messiah Obama is President Obama has anything really changed? I recall during the election being on a blog about the Ford Stock, and the night before the election someone wrote "Watch Ford skyrocket if Obama is elected". I think this sentiment is endemic of the majority who voted for Obama, But what has really changed?

When he was elected the market dropped, Now that he has survived his inauguration(thank goodness, we don't wish death on anyone) The market has dropped again. Guess what, he's not the cause either, if the market rallies or drops it has nothing to do with Obama.

I sincerely hope that Obama and his cabinet are able to fix the economy, but it won't happen just because he's African American. It won't happen just because he keeps shouting change!!!

People need to stop being sheep, they need to understand that things don't happen that way. It's cause and effect, the cause of the bad economy is previous policy(dating back to Carter)

The best way I can illustrate this is with a few simple questions.

  • Did the economy fix itself when Obama became President?
  • Did the Black activists stop complaining because they now have a 'Black' President?

and finally,....

Does the water taste better now that Obama is President?

The Great Debate of Barack "Jimmy Carter" Obama

Barack Obama The New Jimmy Carter

Like Carter, there is a lot of excitement about Barack Obama.

Like Carter, Barack is a new face that people are flocking to for no apparent reason.

Like Carter, Barack Obama IF he wins will serve four years, screw up the economy and leave office really having accomplished nothing but spent billions of US tax payer dollars on useless and frivilous social programs.

Like Carter, Barack OBama is a Socialist and cares nothing for our Republic.

Like Carter, Barack Obama IF elected will serve only four years and won't have another term in office.

UnLike Carter, Barack Obama has NEVER had any executive leadership experience.

In the debate Barack Obama even sounded like Carter, Yes he says a lot, but in the end he never really says anything at all.

Welcome Back Mr. Carter!

Is Senator Obama Another Jimmy Carter?

Obama = Carter is it so? IS there experience?

This election looks surprisingly similar to that of President Carters,.. Will we be facing another president that has no experience? I want you to tell me, I have the survey questions below.

Does McCain have more experience than Obama?
Does Obama have any leadership exerience?
Who has a better Healthcare plan?

POLITICS,... Oh Crap There Goes The Economy!

Financial Meltdowns, Banks Collapsing, CEO's Running With The Money, and all this before breakfast.

By now even those who don't work in the financial industries know that our country is in a whole heap of trouble. All of those financial industries collapsing and 700 Billion in bailout's can only mean one thing.... Time to tighten the belt.

"We are not affected by the bailout, or the financial problems,. just big companies are" - that was a quote from a friend of mine who for his safety will remain nameless.

It just goes to show you that no matter what there are always people who want to deny that there is a problem. -- Did I mention he is voting for Obama?

There is a problem, and it stated when the government got involved with the economy in the first place. Some of these issues are even left over from how we came out of The Great Depression.

Free Market Economy has rules:
rule #1 - Competition is good
rule #2 - IF you screw up you get taken over
rule #3 - Never let a 3000 pound Gorilla Government mess things up.

Whenever the government steps into a situation to try to bring "Balance" they inevitably screw up the market, and it takes longer for the market to recover and reach that "Balance". Now we have a problem though, the more the government gets involved with the Economy the more often it has to get involved again.

If you let companies grow and fail on their own they default into the hands of their creditors. This is a good thing to happen, it promotes growth, it stimulates more competition, and it creates more jobs. This is how small companies become larger companies, they eat up the competition. If a company is facing bankruptcy and they happen to have 4-5 offers on the table(like AIG did) they should take one of those offers, NOT be bailed out.

Yes there will be a period of recovery, and yes it will be difficult for a while, BUT,.....That is Free Market Economy,

So get out of the way and let the chips fall,......

Sarah Palin The Giant Slayer

Lipstick, a pretty smile, and the approval of a nation.

Last night Sarah Palin took on Joe Biden in a VP debate that had better ratings than any political debate since 1992(Clinton, Bush, and that other guy with the big ears--Perot). I watched the debates and I have read through 15 blogs this morning. The overall consensus is that Sarah Palin not only won, but she is ONE of US.

Every blog out there has the chatter of approval for Sarah Palin. I wouldn't be suprised if teenie-boppers suddenly started to wear the same brand of lipstick, that is how popular she is becoming.

This just goes to show that anyone can be turned into a superstar(wink at Obama) if the press likes them enough, or if they dislike them enough.

But the facts are these:
  • Sarah's Smart
  • Sarah's Funny
  • Sarah governed a state(biggest one we got)
  • Sarah connects with people

I would also like to note that the few liberals/Dem's/Pillow Huggers etc,.. who did post on these blogs I read seemed to have nothing constructive to say, in fact one guy talked so much about how everyone hates everyone else that noone on the blog wanted him around.

It seems that the Democrats are scared, and they are desperate to tell anyone how wrong they are! Nothing New There

Politics and Free Market Economics Should Not Mix!

History has shown that whenever the Government tries to get involved with the Free Market problems will inevitably occur.

Fannie Mae was federally chartered in 1938 and Freddie Mac in 1970, these two mortgage lending institutions are at the center of this financial crisis. They would not be in this situation if it weren’t for disturbing federal policies. There was an implicit understanding that the government would make good on debts incurred causing them to take on excessive risk.

Starting in the 1970’s Congress pushed Fannie and Freddie to expand subprime lending, the result has been thousands of people given mortgages who under “Freemarket Standards” would never have been given a loan that they can’t afford. Mortgage fraud soared, A.R.M’s adjusted and bankruptcies and foreclosures skyrocketed.

All of this illustrates just how poorly the government action in regards to our economy helps(HURTS). The answer to this current situation is not a bailout,… it’s a bankruptcy.

When a large institution gets in trouble two things happen
Other large companies start to make offers for less than what they are worth.
Creditors prepare for an impending bankruptcy to gain what they can.

Neither one of these is a bad thing, If a large company goes under it promotes growth in the rest of the economy, but the more the government steps in, the longer the recovery process will take.

So how does all of this relate to politics? Well boiled down
Democrats Spend
Republicans Save

The only thing that changes all of this is WAR, which brings us to a topic for another time. – Why Are We The World Police? –

So what is the solution?
Strong National Defense
Free Market Economy
Local Manufacturing
National Pride
Made in America
= The Republic for Which We Stand!!

The Debate is On, Presidential Football Begins

After three days of suspense and best efforts in Washington McCain announces that he will attend the debate.

I have read a lot of horrible things on the web about McCains efforts being a waste in Washington, and his delay being a political power-play. It's interesting to note that all of this speculation has been by the Democratic party leftists. These leftists have even suggested that McCain didn't want the debate because he was woefully unprepared. WELL,,,,,,,......

McCain is ready to Kick some ass, and the debate is on.

What I find amusing about this whole thing is that McCain did make Obama and the Democratic elite nervous. No amount of cajoling or threatening could force McCain into forcing his schedule. McCain proves himself to be the statesman while Obama allows himself to be seen as the selfish brat he really is.

All of this has to affect the nerves of Obama, he must realize now that he caters to McCain's schedule, he is the little puppy in the big pen with a political PitBull.

I for one am going to have a front row, armchair quarterback seat for these debates this evening. So sharpen those eye's, get out the microwave popcorn, and cool down a beer.

The Debate is on!
